1500 pairs will be auctioned off on eBay and all proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The charity auction will run from September 8th, 2011(Tonight!) to September 18th, 2011. Furthermore, Sergey Brin the Co-Founder of Google will match proceeds with a near 50 million dollar donation. This time last year there were rumors of Nike buying rights patented self-lacing shoe.
