G.I. Joe Retaliation New International Trailers

The G.I. Joe team has released two new international trailers. One for Japan and one for South Korea. It makes sense for them to show a lot of Storm Shadow played by Byung-hun Lee. Don't miss this high action flick this summer June 29, 2012.

Johnny Depp 'New' Dark Shadows Poster

The Tim Burton hit Dark Shadows is set to hit theaters May 11th, 2012 which is right around the corner if you think about how fast time is flying. The hype of The Hunger Games has come and gone, the Lorax, John Carter, Woman In Black have all had their time now it's time for the summer flicks. Summer is the time where they will release anything including Dark Shadows. I say that expecting the movie to be as lousy as the previews, what I hope for however is the story to save the visual. I'll admit there is some sense to the movie; for one it was a TV show in the 70s, it has Johnny Depp who I am not surprised to see in a role like this and miraculously the plot has a beginning and end all in the same movie.

Any who take a look at this HOT banner of the cast including Barnabas Collins and his dysfunctional family descendants and the witch who made him the man he is.

Prometheus Movie Get's Another TV Spot [Video]

Prometheus get's another TV spot. Check out the 30 second video below courtesy of MovieWeb. There's not much adieu in regards to the plot but there are some nice character close ups. Charlize Theron is so hot and Yes this movie looks like it will be insane. All you doomsday preppers and 2012 enthusiasts should be heads over heels to see this. I am.

'The Cabin In The Woods' Truth Or Dare Scene [Video]

The Drew Goddard horror flick The Cabin In The Woods seems a little basic to me. I would definitely do a better job acting than 99% of the cast selected. My friends have told me so, with that said I'm sure you'll agree the selected scene doesn't make you want to jump out of your seat or go sit in a seat to see this. Perhaps I will be swayed into going if they release a hundred trailers like they're doing for Wrath Of The Titans. You can cut and paste the whole movie together from their previews alone. Sigh...

Iron Sky - A Nazi Sci-Fi Sneak Movie Preview [Trailer]

Moon Nazi Troopers

So the first four minutes of the Timo Vuorensola sci-fi flick Iron Sky have been released. I wonder why studios are releasing the first minutes of their films now days, Disney did that with John Carter and look how horrible that sh*t did. For what they paid and for what it was herald as (a Blockbuster) JC sure took a back seat to the Lorax and still hasn't recovered. So I'm not sure what the benefits of giving away precious moments are but I suppose it'll allow me to take a pee and not worry about catching the previews which are usually on Next In Show anyway. I can walk in post light's dimmed and still have the satisfactory feeling of not having missed the first few minutes. Unfortunately, most people today love openings with bangs and John Carter sure didn't have that, nothing unique. Although the damage is done the plot of this movie sounds insane; so doe's anything with Nazis. In this case Nazi's returning from the moon. Enjoy!

In theaters April 4th, 2012. With Julia Dietze, Christopher Kirby, Götz Otto, Tilo Prückner,Peta Sergeant, Stephanie Paul, Udo Kier, Kym Jackson.

Chernobyl Diaries Photo From The New Movie

This just in. The first pic from the Oren Peli film Chernobyl Diaries has been released and I got it. Take a look below at the van. Scary right? Some may say no but if you know the story of Chernobyl well then you'd reckon that van just isn't a normal van. It probably would kill you, literally, without even moving. Perhaps I may be speaking out of nonsense so don't listen. Just know the movie follows a group of travelers stuck in the city of Prypiat (where the Chernobly factory workers lived) and after discovering their stranded in the city it's made quite clear - they are not alone. RoboCop Get's August 2013 Release Date

Our metal friend who has promised to serve and protect is back. Yes everyone Alex Murphy aka RoboCop is back to fight the evil villains of the world. I somehow was thinking The Avengers may have handled the crime by then but maybe not. Regardless however, I'm quite sure most would agree the simple fact there's going to be another one with today's crazy effects is good enough. I'm expecting RoboCop to be able to fly, he flew with the jet pack in part 3 no? Well, I'm not expecting him to just walk around with a gun, after Transformers, Iron Man and everything else how out of the ordinary can RoboCop really be? I guess we'll have to wait until August 9th, 2013 when the movie is set to release in theaters.

Playing Alex Murphy will be Joel Kinnaman. Screenplay by Joshua Zetumer. Directed by Jose Padilha.

Tobey Maguire's Material Pictures To Produce GK Films '5TH Wave'

So I just read that Tobey Maguire is going to give us a run for our money. The guy better known for his quick senses probably didn't take long to decide that the GK Films project 5TH Wave was a must. The movie is supposedly about aliens that come and abduct people but only and of course. A girl then must search for her brother with the help of a maybe alien kid and the beat goes on. Sony Pictures is also reportedly co-producing as well as distributing the film. I hope it's good.

John Carter FIRST 10 MINUTES Official Disney Trailer [Video]

OK, so there is a lot of hype about the movie John Carter coming out soon. The graphics and the action are enough for me to go see it and I would think the current trailers would entice enough to go. However, I sense there may be some insecurities over at Disney because they have now released the first 10 minutes of the movie. Yes, they released the first 10 minutes. Sort of like the whole don't judge a book by it's cover saying - doesn't actually persuade people to read I'd assume that this wouldn't change any minds. Though if minds we changed I'd think people would decide NOT to go if they were to make any decision at all, because if they're going they're going regardless. I definitely recommend paying the money to go see this beast.

Here's from the Hollywood honchos themselves:

From Academy Award®--winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton comes "John Carter"—a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). "John Carter" is based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose highly imaginative adventures served as inspiration for many filmmakers, both past and present. The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

'End Of Watch' In Theaters September 2012 Jake Gyllenhall, Michael Pena, Shondrella Avery

The cop drama focusing on two cops (Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena) patrolling the most dangerous turns in South Central, Los Angeles has gotten a September 28th, 2012 release date. The film is a story of friendship, love and courage to say the least. Here's how MovieWeb describes it

Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city's most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay. The film also stars Napoleon Dynamite's Shondrella Avery, America Ferrera, Anna Kendrick, Frank Grillo and Natalie Martinez. The film is directed by David Ayer and is an Open Roads Film.

Tim Burton 'Frankenweenie' Trailer [VIdeo]

Picture Soure IMDB]
Tim Burton is back at it again and by again we mean back at an older project he did in 1984. The Disney Pictures film is about the young Victor Frankenstein who's lost his best friend Sparky the dog. In an effort to bring his buddy back to life he conducts an experiment that you'll have to wait and see. The results could be what you thought or it could be something new and more powerful than expected for a Disney Pictures film. With films like John Carter set to release soon I see Disney Pictures on a spiral up towards viewer success in the older age groups where they'll see not only adults with kid sales but groups of adults also. Either way you'll be the judge fr yourself but I like where they are headed. Watch the trailer below for Frankenweenie.

BULLY Movie Trailer [Video]

With the increase in youth suicides it was only a matter of time before they made a movie about the problem with Bullying. Movies are the perfect way to get people to sit still and listen actually. That's why they make them, like the 2012 movies and what not you know? So here we have it a movie following the lives of kids in trouble with bullies. There's just to much we should already know from our own experiences in school about how kids get treated to kind of understand the premise of the film. Regardless it's definitely a better approach to the issue by going into the actual lives of the bullied themselves. I am sure this will do great in theaters. Here's the full and official release from the movie.

This year, over 13 million American kids will be bullied, making it the most common form of violence young people in the U.S. experience. Directed by Sundance- and Emmy-award winning filmmaker, Lee Hirsch, Bully is a beautifully cinematic, character-driven documentary—at its heart are those with the most at stake and whose stories each represent a different facet of this bullying crisis.

Following five kids and families over the course of a school year, the film confronts bullying’s most tragic outcomes, including the stories of two families who’ve lost children to suicide and a mother who waits to learn the fate of her 14 –year-old daughter, incarcerated after bringing a gun on her school bus. With rare access to the Sioux City Community School District, the film also gives an intimate glimpse into school busses, classrooms, cafeterias and even principles offices, offering insight into the often-cruel world of children, as teachers, administrators and parents struggle to find answers.

While the stories examine the dire consequences of bullying, they also give testimony to the courage and strength of the victims of bullying and seek to inspire real changes in the way we deal with bullying as parents, teachers, children, and in society as a whole. Through the power of these stories, Bully aims to be a catalyst for change and to turn the tide on an epidemic of violence that has touched every community in the United States—and far beyond.

Movie 'ZULU' SIgns On Orlando Bloom and Djimon Hounsou

The film ZULU takes place in Cape Town, South Africa. Both actors play police officers assigned to find the killers of an 18 year old girl. Thing is the girl is the daughter of a member of the championship rugby team there the Sprikboks. In the midst of doing so there are clues that lead to the past, as in the past of Africa. Apartheid ring a bell? My guess is this, Orlando Bloom recently saw Safe House and thought hey I'm hot why don't I change my role up and play a detective too. Ryan Reynolds to me has rewritten his resume with Safe House, keep him out of those silly movies please. Last but not least Djimon hasn't done much in a short period of time but it's guaranteed any movie in Africa or about Africans will get this guy some candid frame time. Hey, best of luck to the crew and cast.
