He went from placing chewed gum in his pocket after walking out to the audition stage with it in his mouth at Piers Morgans request to the Million Dollar Crooner. Ladies and gentlemen Mr. Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. has done what we knew he was capable of doing all along, he has won Americas Got Talent. Not only did Landau amaze the judges and the crowd during his audition and triumphant song fought fight he was able to prove to millions of Americans - he's worth a million bucks. Having watched every episode it indeed was a fight to the finish for Mr. Landau; going against powerhouses Team Illuminate, The Silhouettes and Pop Lyfe. I won't lie during the final performances on Tuesday it seemed as though The Silhouettes and Team Illuminate had put forth efforts that could have seen them winning the contest. However, in the end it was Mr. Landau who won as he also set another life milestone by performing with Patti Labelle one of my favorite Divas of all time.
As the night passed it was imminent there could only be one winner, regardless the duets with Patti Labelle, Cobra Starship, Stevie Wonder and LeAnn Rimes and how well they went; But ultimately it was Mr. Landau.
