50 Cent Releases The "Big 10 Mixtape"

Finally 50 Cent comes out with new material. Not to say that he hasn't been busy...you know, trying to feed a billion children and all. This is a much anticipated mixtape for an Curtis fan. Don't expect to hear the classic sounds of Dr. Dre though. This time 50 enlists a number of next level producer for the project including DJ Khalil, Scoop Deville and Jake One. Another aspect of the album is the features of two new G-Unit artists, Kidd Kidd and femal rapper, Paris. And of course Bossman's humble companion Tony Yayo. G-Unit isn't done yet. Look for suprises in 2012 from 50 Cent.

*Sidenote - 50 Cent recently signed DJ Pauly D to his new label G-Note founded in late 2010 (Pop/Dance/R&B label)

Mobb Deep - Black Cocaine EP * Review

Mobb Deep has been out of sight since their last album was released on G-Unit records, Blood Money back in 2006. Since then, Prodigy served some time in prison for a gun possession charge, and Havoc went on to release his solo album The Kush, then stepped back for a minute. 5 years later, the Queensbridge mobsters are back together releasing an EP for the very first time in their career. Black Cocaine is the same raw street music that the Infamous Mobb has been making since their debut as young teenagers. Dirty east coast production provided by Havoc like always, but also includes co-production from Alchemist, J.U.S.T.I.C.E League and new to the game, Young Free. The whole EP is a must-listen, but stand out tracks are the title track Black Cocaine, Get It Forever (Feat. Nas), and Last Days.Mobb Deep will respectively release the Black Cocaine EP on November 25, Black Friday.
