For Better or for Worse ultimately takes the cake as far as cast line ups go. These are personal preferences and reasons as well. Michael Jai White is nice, but that's just because he always plays this role. After Spawn and some other kick-punch movies he finally found his niche, which makes him relevant on screen. Him paired with the more so than not very funny Tasha Smith should do good. They've both mastered the role they've been given in their prior endeavors. Tekaboo Brandon is also another I can't wait to see shine, she s also heavily involved with music. It's so great when the youth shine isn't it? Remember Kiki Palmer? Akilah and the Bee? She's stuntin like Birdman now and should be the next Raven Simone in that aspect of acting for her age.
Overall I give his other two shows a 5/10 combined, that because Meet The Brown's has no value in comparison to other comedies on TV. House of Payne can survive. I expect For Better of for Worse to be the best of his TV productions however I still wish he'd manage to develop some kind of new story line. Being a great writer is superb but what's the use if there's no NEW IDEAS? We need NEW IDEAS Mr. Tyler Perry, I may support your ambition but not so much your lack of creativity. If you want to WOW television viewers it's time you use your famous name and that studio and be the future of New Ideas and Great Productions. How about some explosions and what about the shootouts? Can the crew over at Tyler Perry Studios make the same money(not literally) I mean theater and small screen GOLD as Jerry, Michael, Stephen, Martin, Matt, Angelina, Jenji, Brenda, Aaron, James and those guys and gals? We want to see ad we want it to succeed. We just want something new.
