"A Lonely Place To Die" {A Look Back] #Melissa George #Julian Gilbey

There comes a time when the normal plot for a movie get's twisted with a plot from another type of move. Yeah, hold on for a minute I'll explain. OK, so we got the movie where there's a kid involved, this kid is usually kidnapped for ransom for some type of political reason or some personal life dilemma. Like the movie Ransom right? Next we have a movie say like the movie The Edge with the great Sean Connery where there's a problem in the wilderness and you now have to fight against the enemy and mother nature. Movies like these are what I meant people, come on. Well so this movie is like those two movies put together, but not those two movies.

You have the crew of feller and gal and the dream of enjoying a getaway in bliss. Set in the Scottish Highlands the crew are rock climbing to freedom I assume. The supple climbers are just having a blast, but we know this can't go on forever. Someone has to get hurt by a fall or a bear has to come and eat someone. Perhaps we could keep it gully and have someone trying to shoot them down to eat. This would send them into a frantic dash for their lives down the hill to the road into the stake-bed truck in which only one person has happened to find. Leaving the others mauled, or fallen victim to the deer treatment. Wait, who's this little kid in the movie. Oh, it's a Siberian girl who's trapped in the ground. How'd she get there you ask? Well it appears that a bad man or two aka Sean Harris and Stephen McCole have put her there and they want her back. Of course.

Fortunately, the little girl is in the hands of some good personnel and they care for her. Regardless the fact that they are now being hunted. So yeah, it's kind of like Ransom without loot and The Edge without the bear.

Watchable? Yes, because people being hunted while holding a little girl sounds crazy. No, I'm not a killer, thief, druggy, drunk or any of that. I just don't know how one would manage to survive long range rifle shots while doing adult maneuvers, ducks rolls with a kid. So it sounds amusing.
