Friday has been Good indeed already with the new Mercy track from G.O.O.D. Music, but now Drake has released not only the visual for HYFR featuring bossman Lil' Wayne, but has also released the title track Take Care featuring Rihanna. Both videos are actually amazing and very well orchestrated with not a lot of extras. The delays were worth it.
Nicki Minaj is ready to release her highly anticipated album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded on April 3rd, so the web should be expecting a leak real soon. The official track Champion just leaked as a matter of fact. The monster hit features Drake, Young Jeezy and Escobar himself Nas.
Recently leaked was Obie Trice's highly rumored new album Bottom's Up. The album was put on ice a few years back for creative differences and complications with Shady Records. Obie then left Shady Records and created his new path with starting Black Market Entertainment (BME). Cheers in my opinion is in my Top 10 Albums of all time. Dr. Dre ends up on the Intro of the album (production-wise) Marshall Mathers production is also featured on a track called Going Nowhere. This track in-particularly I wanted to spotlight. Richard has a crazy beat. Statik Selektah production. Eminem comes with a catchy hook and a verse I will master by end of weekend. Bottom's Up is worth listening to all the way through.
I received a gift tonight and am excited to say that the Odd Future Mixtape Vol. 2 is worth the anticipation and hype. You might not agree with some of the things they say or do, but I think all music connoisseurs can agree that this mixtape is really a low key group album with amazing lyrical strength and high production value. The Wolf Gang released their first volume of mixtape back around this time last year. Many more members of the crew were involved in that project and was a more immature Odd Future. This time, their Mixtape Vol. 2 is on a more professional level. Songs like Analog 2 ft. Tyler, Hodgy & Syd (sequel to Tyler's Goblin; Analog) and Snow White ft. Hodgy & Frank Ocean explores more mellow musical production than just turnt up stage dive music. Tyler also explained that his upcoming album Wolf will be tuned in to a more mellow vibe sound. Greatness evolves I guess. The main MC's on the iTunes released mixtape are Hodgy Beats, Tyler The Creator, Domo Genesis and Frank Ocean. Wildboy, Taco does makes a special appearance though on the cruising slow jam Real Bitch accompanied by Hodgy.
Although OF is highly against mainstream anything they have provided a couple singles already that are perfect and radio friendly hits. Ned Flander NY and Rella both have visuals too. Right now stand out tracks that are on repeat for me personally are, Bitches ft. Hodgy Beats & Domo Genesis and Hcad ft. Hodgy, Tyler & Domo. The big dogs even allow Jasper Dolphin to do his thing. "We Got Bitches We Got Bitches..." With 18 tracks on the official tracklist, you would think it would be just a bunch of fillers and reused material, but in this case Odd Future isn't wasting anyones time with garbage releases. This mixtape is all fresh material (with the exception of Rella/Ned Flander/Forest Green). Members of the crew including Tyler, Jasper, Taco and more are getting ready to release their sketch show Loiter Squad on Comedy Central coming later this month. Always so much news with Odd Future now a days. Last month Tyler got choke slammed off the stage at The Hundreds x G Shock x Gucci Mane event, this month the young wolves are continuing on a nationwide tour. Within each city they perform at, Odd Future also is opening up pop up shops to sell and promote their merchandise. If you haven't heard, these guys are marketable as hell. This just in. The first pic from the Oren Peli film Chernobyl Diaries has been released and I got it. Take a look below at the van. Scary right? Some may say no but if you know the story of Chernobyl well then you'd reckon that van just isn't a normal van. It probably would kill you, literally, without even moving. Perhaps I may be speaking out of nonsense so don't listen. Just know the movie follows a group of travelers stuck in the city of Prypiat (where the Chernobly factory workers lived) and after discovering their stranded in the city it's made quite clear - they are not alone. OK, so there is a lot of hype about the movie John Carter coming out soon. The graphics and the action are enough for me to go see it and I would think the current trailers would entice enough to go. However, I sense there may be some insecurities over at Disney because they have now released the first 10 minutes of the movie. Yes, they released the first 10 minutes. Sort of like the whole don't judge a book by it's cover saying - doesn't actually persuade people to read I'd assume that this wouldn't change any minds. Though if minds we changed I'd think people would decide NOT to go if they were to make any decision at all, because if they're going they're going regardless. I definitely recommend paying the money to go see this beast.

A lot of sneakers have come out this year. Most seem like they were released on impulse, but it's finally time to release the most anticipated sneaker from 2011. The Jordan Retro XI Concord was originally released in 1995 and then later Retro'ed 5 years later in 2000. Now it's the end of 2011 and another Retro is released. This time with an ice blue sole similar to that of its brother, the XI Space Jam. If you haven't been camping out already, then your in for a looooong night. The Concords will be released Friday morning at selected retailers and some might open at midnight tonight. Good Luck.

He recently received MTV's Best New Artist Award for his exceptional work on the visual Yonkers. His 2nd studio album GOBLIN also released earlier this year and as of September 7, 2011 it has sold 118,000 copies. since then he has appeared on a track with Pusha T "Trouble on my Mind" and also the recently released "Martians vs. Goblins ft Lil Wayne" off the Game's R.E.D. Album.
Www.oddfuture.com has been on/off crashing with traffic in the past couple weeks. Last week Domo Genesis released his new mixtape #Undertheinfluence, which productively trended throughout the day. Then, a few days ago a mysterious song appeared on the site from the newest signee to the odd future label, Young N*****(minus the stars). The track, Come Through Looking Clean', is produced by Tyler, the Creator, and SUPRISE, Young N***** is another alter ego of Wolf Haley aka Tyler. Great stuff though. He really touches his inner Waka Flaka with this character. i can't wait for the mixtape to release, Expensive Pasta.
Last night another suprise leaked onto the WolfGang blog. A group called The Internet, which includes OF dj, Syd tha Kid and Matt Martian (Odd future producer), released a new song called Love Songs. Can't wait for more from them.

On September 2, 2011, a mysterious album surfaced via The Weeknd's tumblr. DROPXLIFE aka PAWNCHO is the name of the group representing "that north north" Toronto, Canada and their album is entitled ALLXLEGENDS. This is very similar to how The Weeknd appeared overnight courtesy of Drizzy Drake. It seems like a flawless marketing scheme to promote an unknown group. The sound is made up of Moody beats and haunting melodies, much like the music of The Weeknd. Alittle mellow dubstep on tracks like MoonxShine. The less information the better.
