Stop SOPA/PIPA Megaupload Back Online!

The popular uploading site Megaupload.com was shut down for federal officers early Thursday morning. Throughout the day major independent websites such as Wikipedia "went black" for 24hours in support against the bill. SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) main focus is making websites like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, CNET to be liable for everything their users post. A saying that I find fit for this is that, "You can extinguish a fire, but the ashes will still arise. There is no stopping this. I wonder how blogs or sites that offer free content for websites will be affected. Freedom to upload whatever we want will always be in the users control. Plus how can the bill pass when Obama himself just signed up for Instagram. jk. In all seriousness, this is a major issue and needs to be resolved immediately. I'm against piracy, but completely protest the idea of SOPA and PIPA (Protect IP Act). Take a stand. #nextinshow
